Where’s going IT market, and how to find a job?

I am super pissed lately … I am looking for 2 months now for job in Prague, and for 2 months there was only 2 openings matching my profile and both had put the position on hold because of the financial crisis … really … if a web developer with nearly 10 years of experience in building web sites can’t find a job, that’s really scary … It’s hillarious - these days is lot more easier for people with no experience to find jobs, because companies are looking for somebody who doesn’t cost lot of money.

In relation to that, have a look at this freelance ad :

http://jobs.freelanceswitch.com/jobs/2348

Isn’t it so funny that it starts with “I’m looking for an advance PHP developer, I mean really advance PHP developer!” and after it develops for a while it ends with “Very low budget”. So … really advanced PHP developers is a low budget job now ? I won’t comment on the typos, but anyhow … I’d rather starve to death (coming soon) than work for some guy who still didn’t finish high school and already wants to hire very advanced developers at low prices ..

Anyhow … life looks kinda weird doesn’t it ?

P.S. Few months later I realized that was just the job market in Prague ... I sent my CV to few ads in Germany and fast enough I found a great job, which I like great !
