As a person who’s been in software for some 15 years now (oic ! ) I always need lots of tools and I’m in general interesting in just trying out new applications to see how they work, whether they’re good and so on.
When I switched to OS X I didn’t know about any software. I was basically interested in having GarageBand at hand. Now there’s a certain myth out there (mostly throughout pc users, lol) that for mac there isn’t much software. Well I should admit at first sight it might look like this. But that certainly is not true. There’s is enormous quantity of software out there for mac and you will not believe how much free software there is as well.
Now we come to the day I decided to put together this blog. I was watching a video on youtube where some guy was explaining that “garageband and Audacity do pretty much the same thing, but he prefers to use Audacity”. Now this was the moment I really was 1st - stunned, 2nd - amazed, 3rd - furious and decided to put online a blog of my own.
So here you can find reviews of different software for OS X which you mostly can download and use for free or it has a working demo.
