Bit torrent OS X client Tomato torrent software review

If you have a file shared over the Internet over a bit torrent network and you just want to get it simple and clean - there’s the Tomato torrent

I ran accidentally over this piece of software but it turned out to be very handy. Tomato torrent is simple implementation of bit torrent client which - in the good tradition of Apple - just works.

Let’s see how it works ?

Well, once you drag-and-drop install it into your Applications folder. You can start it and either open a saved locally torrent file or when opening a torrent file from Internet just choose Tomato torrent as a default application to handle this type of files.

As I already said tomato torrent is about clean and simple interface. When it’s fed a torrent file, it only asks you where to save the resulting files - nothing less, nothing more.

You can also have a look at few details about the torrent file itself, but you’re not going to get almost anything.

The downloading windows is pretty simple as well, just a couple of tabs with the major info you need. No extras no hip settings. If simplicity is what you like, that should be just perfect for you

Well that’s pretty much everything you’ll get. When the download is finished you just close the window and that’s it.  If you close it accidentally, just restart the application and you’ll be given the option to continue the last  download.

How do I get it ?

Hope I was helpful
